The procedure described in this video is for manually deactivating the electronic parking brake on many Renault models, including the Grand Scenic. Turn on the ignition and press the brake pedal: activate the electronic parking brake button (the one used to deactivate it) and check that it has released by ensuring the warning light integrated into the button and the corresponding light on the dashboard turn off. This confirms that the brake has been deactivated. In case of an emergency, such as a flat battery, look for the emergency release lever, which is usually yellow and located inside the boot.
