How to Replace the Alternator on a Renault Kangoo

To replace the alternator on a Renault Kangoo, disconnect the battery starting with the negative terminal. Remove the auxiliary belt by loosening the tensioner and sliding the belt off the pulleys. Locate the alternator on the engine side, disconnect the main electrical connector and the power cable. Unscrew the fixing bolts and remove the alternator from its housing. Compare the new part with the old one to check compatibility. Insert the new alternator, secure it with the bolts, and reconnect the electrical wiring. Refit the auxiliary belt, ensuring it is correctly seated on the pulleys. Reconnect the battery and start the engine to check the charging system's proper operation.
