How to Change the Engine Oil on a Renault Clio

To change the engine oil on a Renault Clio 3, start the vehicle for a few minutes to warm the oil slightly and facilitate draining. Then, turn off the engine, safely lift the car, and access the underside of the engine. Place a container under the sump and unscrew the drain bolt to let all the used oil out. Next, remove the oil filter and install a new one, applying a thin layer of oil to the gasket first. After closing the sump plug, lower the vehicle and fill the engine with new oil through the top filler. Start the engine for a few seconds, check for leaks, and verify the oil level, adding more if necessary.
