Steps to Change the Oil in a Renault Megane 4

The steps necessary to change the engine oil on a Renault Megane 4 are quite few. Here they are listed: 1) lift the car on a ramp or on axle stands; 2) remove the undertray of the engine; 3) place a sufficiently large container under the oil sump; 4) unscrew the closing bolt of the sump to let the used oil drain (it takes about 5 minutes for it to all flow out); 5) close the oil sump; 6) remove the oil filter; 7) replace the cartridge and the filter seal; 8) reassemble both the filter and the undertray; 9) fill the oil reservoir with new engine oil; 10) reset the service light.
