How to replace the engine oil filter and engine oil of the Renault Megane 2

Today we will explain how to replace the oil filter and motor oil of the Renault Megane 2. To perform this operation, we need to open the front hood and remove the oil tank cap. Immediately after, we can lift the vehicle. After lifting the vehicle, we can remove the lower cover in order to access the oil pan and filter. Using a torque wrench, we unscrew the oil pan nut and position a container underneath to let all the liquid inside it drain out. We close the oil pan nut when the oil has finished draining and proceed with the filter replacement by removing the nut that holds it in place and replacing it. We mount the lower cover of the vehicle and lower the car back to the ground. We pour the necessary amount of oil into the oil tank and complete the replacement by starting the vehicle to circulate the oil.
