How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter of the Renault Megane 2

Start this operation by safely parking the car and opening the front hatch to access the engine bay. From here, unscrew the oil filler cap and then lift the car onto axle stands and proceed to remove the lower protection panel. At this point, place a drain pan under the oil sump and unscrew the bolt to let the used oil drain out. After 10 minutes, close it up, preferably with a new bolt, reattach the panel, and lower the car. The filter is located in the engine bay: remove it and replace it with the new one before proceeding to add the engine oil.
