How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Megane?

From the instrument cluster of the Renault Megane, you can completely clear the Service light by turning on the ignition and inserting the key into the corresponding lock: when the instrument cluster is activated, you can repeatedly press the button located on the left side of the cluster, below the speedometer.

Once the message indicating that the engine oil needs to be replaced appears, hold the button for a few seconds to ensure the light is removed; at the end of the reset procedure, you can turn off the ignition by removing the key from the lock.
