How to Change the Engine Oil in a Renault Scenic

To replace the engine oil in a Renault Scenic, park the vehicle on a flat surface and wait a few minutes for the engine to cool slightly. Safely lift the car and place a collection tray under the oil sump. Open the filler cap in the engine bay and unscrew the drain plug located at the bottom of the sump to fully drain the used oil. Once the drainage is complete, reinstall the drain plug, ensuring that the gasket is intact and properly positioned. Locate the oil filter, remove it with the appropriate key, and install the new one after lightly lubricating the gasket with clean oil. Screw the new filter on until it is securely tightened. Then pour the new oil through the upper filler neck, adhering to the specified quantity. Check the level with the dipstick and adjust if necessary.
