How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

To reset the service light on a second generation Renault Clio, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the on position without starting the engine. Using the reset button for the trip meter located on the instrument panel, select the display for the maintenance interval. At this point, hold the button for a few seconds until the interval value starts to flash and is then reset. When the new maintenance interval is displayed steadily, release the button and turn off the ignition. Finally, turn the ignition back on to verify that the service light has been correctly reset.
