How to Replace the Battery of a Renault Keycard

Let’s see how to replace the battery of a Renault keycard: a standard procedure for vehicles using the "keycard" system popular between 2000 and 2010. Press the small button on the side of the card to extract the emergency key. On the top of the card, opposite the key you just removed, you will see a circular recess; this is the battery cover. Use a small screwdriver to gently pry it open. Under the cover, you will find a CR2032 battery; remove it and insert the new one, ensuring the positive side is facing you. Now reassemble everything, and you’re finished.
