How to Replace the Windscreen Washer Pump on a Renault Megane 2

If activating the windscreen wiper lever does not release fluid from the sprayers, it means the pump installed at the base of the washer fluid reservoir is not working; one reason could be a blown fuse, but if this is intact, the pump motor may be damaged. It is easy to find this replacement part in the aftermarket for about £13.00 and to carry out the replacement; the reservoir is located just under the right front headlamp (passenger side), and to access it, you need to remove the wheel and the wheel arch liner. At this point, disconnect the power connector from the motor, detach the hoses, and extract the pump from its housing, then reverse the process to install the new one.
