Is your key fob battery dead? Let's see how to open the key fob of a Renault Clio. Take your remote and use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves of the key. Pry until the cover opens, then separate one of the covers and extract the worn battery with a screwdriver. Install the new battery inside the key. Join the two covers of your remote by pressing them together until you hear it click into place. Check the functionality of the remote: press the operating buttons to see if it works.
