Dismantling and replacing the timing belt on a Renault Megane. Remove the front right wheel to access the belt. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel, using a screwdriver to detach the covering splash guard. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Unscrew the tensioner pulley securing bolt, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Install the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt, tightening everything with a socket wrench. Reattach the rivets with the splash guard and refit the wheel with the tyre onto the vehicle. Access the engine bay to remove the components as well.
