Replacing the Cabin Filter on a Renault Trafic 3

Required: new compatible or original cabin filter for Renault Trafic. Procedure: this is a fairly simple operation that takes no more than three minutes. 1- Switch off the vehicle, engage the handbrake, open the front bonnet and secure it with the safety stay. 2- Locate the cabin filter box, which is situated inside the bonnet, at the top and NOT in the engine bay. The filter is positioned at an angle. 3- Remove the old filter from the housing by simply opening the two plastic clips that hold it in place (see video at 00:37). 4- Refit the new filter exactly as the old one was installed, with the clips facing towards the windscreen of the vehicle. It is recommended to replace the cabin filter at least once a year, or every six months if you frequently drive in urban areas with high traffic density.
