Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Renault Scenic Scenic 2, MK 2 - Years 2003-2009

To access the engine air filter housing, first remove the plastic cover located just under the windscreen by unscrewing the relevant fixing screws. Once the cover and the seal on the edge are removed, unscrew the metal support located under the cover by removing the relevant fixing pins. At this point, you can extract the air filter along with the support (it pulls out like a drawer) for replacement: then fit the new filter inside the support, clean the filter housing of any debris (using a vacuum cleaner, for example), and insert the support with the new filter.
