How to replace the air filter on a Renault Scenic? Let's see how to remove the air filter from inside the engine compartment. Open the engine compartment: there are screws to remove above the plastic cover that runs along the air filter cover. Unscrew the securing screws around the perimeter with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull off the cover. Remove the cap and slide out the air filter from its housing. Insert the new filter and reassemble all the components of the engine compartment as previously disassembled. Close the engine compartment after maintenance.
