How to change the air filter in the Renault Scenic

On the Renault Scenic in the video, you start by opening the hood and immediately reach the upper area of the engine compartment, near the base of the windshield. To access the air filter, you handle the long plastic piece under the wipers: it is lifted and moved just enough to free access to the filter box. Once the space is clear, you reach the cover of the air filter box on the Renault Scénic. In the video, a screw on the edge of the cover is removed, and then the cover is opened, making the filter housing visible. At this point, the old filter is extracted along with its structure by pulling it upwards: it is clearly very dirty, so the comparison with the new replacement is immediate. The new filter is shown first on the bench, along with the packaging, and then it is brought back into the engine compartment of the Renault Scénic. The installation is simple but needs to be done carefully: the filter is lowered into the same position as the previous one, ensuring it rests correctly against the edges without being crooked. Then, the cover of the filter box is closed, and the screw is re-tightened so that everything remains securely fastened.
