How to remove the starter motor from a Renault Trafic? Here’s how to remove the damaged part. Disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the clips. Remove the front bumper and all the front piping to access the starter motor. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor and remove it from the engine bay. Replace the starter motor with the connection of the power cables and the associated securing screws. Refit the front bumper and cover parts.
