In this video, you will learn when and how to change the timing belt on a Renault Megane 2 1.5 DCI, but also on the Clio, Dacia Sandero, and Nissan Qashqai with the same engine; typically, we change the timing belt every 124,000-149,000 miles. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the lower coolant hose, draining it into a container; then remove the crankshaft pulley to take off the V-belt.

At this point, remove the left engine mount and the timing cover, lifting the engine with a jack; follow the video to the end for the replacement!
