Renault Megane - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Megane Megane 2 - Years 2002-2010
Part: Timing belt
Operation: When and how to change the timing belt on Renault Megane 2 1.5 DCI

In this video we will see when and how to change the timing belt on a Renault Megane 2 1.5 DCI, but also on the Clio, Dacia Sandero, and Nissan Qashqai, with the same engine; we usually change the timing belt every 200,000-240,000 kilometers. First we open the bonnet of our car and we go to remove the lower sleeve of the coolant, letting it drain into a container; we then remove the crankshaft pulley, in order to remove the V-belt. At this point we remove the left engine support and the timing cover, lifting the engine with a jack; follow the video to the end for replacement!
