In this video we witness the removal of the driving airbag and the steering wheel following the "airbag failure" warning that appeared on the information display. The first step is to disconnect the battery and wait about a minute before starting work. Now we can actually get started. Let's unscrew the three screws in the lower part of the steering wheel (it is advisable to rotate the steering wheel to work more easily). With the help of a screwdriver we go to force the space between the steering wheel and the airbag cover to remove the latter. Once this is done we can remove the airbag by disconnecting the two side connectors and the rear one. Thus the airbag is removed! By removing the central screw, it is also possible to remove the steering wheel from its seat.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
