How to Open the Bonnet of a Renault Clio

This guide shows how to open the bonnet of the car. To open the bonnet, first locate the release handle for the latch; then go to the cabin and, checking under the dashboard near the driver's door, pull the lever (you will hear a noise indicating the bonnet is unlocked). At this point, move to the front of the vehicle, slightly lift the bonnet (to engage the catch lever) and unlock it again. After performing this operation, the bonnet is finally unlocked, and you can safely access the engine compartment after securely supporting the bonnet with the locking rod located on the side (insert it into the designated slot on the bonnet). To close the compartment, simply return the safety rod to its holder, disengage the bonnet panel, and with a gentle push, return it to the closed position. Ensure the latch has engaged. Once done, the operation is complete.
