Modus 1.5 dCi timing belt replacement

Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013
Part: Timing belt

Let's see the replacement of the Renault Modus timing belt. We remove the right front wheel after lifting the vehicle on a jack. After removing the stone guard from under the fender, we disassemble the washer fluid reservoir. We remove the belt cover panel (we disassemble the sensor if present). We loosen the second belt tensioner and remove the belt from its seat. After having mounted the new belt, with a fixed wrench we go to assemble the belt tensioner roller, we stretch until we have the right belt tension (we assemble the two belts). Finally we check the belt tensioner and belt itself. We move the window washer tank and the stone guard with attached wheel.
