How do you replace the timing belt on a Renault Modus?

It will be possible to replace the timing belt of the Renault Modus by lifting the car with a jack or a lift, so that the front right wheel is not in contact with the ground: this wheel will need to be removed from its position, and the screws fixing the inner lining of the wheel arch will also need to be loosened. The timing belt can now be removed from its position by loosening the nut that secures the tensioner pulley: by removing this, the tension on the belt will be reduced, allowing it to be taken out from the gears and the new one to be inserted.
