How to Remove the Throttle Body
Model: Renault Clio
Clio 2, MK 2
- Years 1998-2005
Given the complexity of the job, exercise great care as there will be many bolts and screws to remove, so it will be necessary to group them in an orderly manner. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Next, remove the engine cover and the spark plugs, placing them aside in an orderly manner. Also, remove the two fuel pipes located on the left side of the engine and set them aside. Then, dismantle the air box situated on the right side of the engine by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place and the air filter inside it. Disconnect all the various electrical connectors connected to the engine (be careful as some are well hidden). Next, disconnect the breather pipe located at the rear right of the engine and loosen a component in the engine bay located at the top left (try to identify it from the video) to create more space when removing a nearby plastic clip that holds some wires in place. Then, locate the 8 main bolts securing the engine block and remove them all (you will find most of them at the bottom, between one cylinder and another). Once done, unscrew the 4 screws that hold the upper part of the engine, which you will gently extract immediately afterwards. At this point, you will have found the throttle body, which you will remove by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place (ensure you have disconnected the electrical connectors). While you are at it, it is advisable to clean the engine block and throttle body with specific products. Once done, you can reassemble everything by following the reverse process. Once everything is back in place, turn the ignition on several times to ensure the fuel circulates again.

How to Remove the Rear Bumper on the Ford Fiesta
The preliminary operation is to detach the rear wheel arch from the bumper to access the screws underneath that secure the bumper (the wheel arch detaches by extracting the two plastic screws with a lever). Now unscrew all the screws around the perimeter of the bumper (you can see them by opening the rear hatch) and now you can detach the plastic from the bodywork by gently pulling it outwards: during this operation, be careful not to break the locking pins. Once you have extracted and replaced the bumper, you can reposition it and secure it by following the same operations done previously. by ScegliAuto More videos
