How to change the air filter in the Renault Clio.

To replace the engine air filter on a Renault Clio, work with the engine off and cold, with the car on a level surface and the hood open. In the engine compartment, locate the air filter box (airbox), which can be identified because it is connected to the intake hose. Before opening it, check how the fastenings are made: depending on the version, there may be snap clips and/or screws, so release all necessary locks without forcing the plastic. Open the airbox cover just enough to extract the filter element and remove the old filter by pulling it out evenly. Check the seat: if you find leaves or dust, clean it with a dry cloth or with low-pressure air, being careful not to push dirt into the duct. Insert the new filter, ensuring that it is oriented correctly and seated properly, making sure the perimeter seal fits snugly all around. Close the airbox cover and reinsert all clips/screws until they are fully seated, then do a final check to ensure there are no gaps or openings.
