Opening the hood of the Renault Clio, whether for checking the engine oil, topping up the windshield washer fluid, or for other reasons, is one of the simplest operations to perform. The procedure is well known: inside the cabin, we find the designated lever next to the driver's door, at the bottom; we pull it and go outside the vehicle to release the catch at the end of the hood, allowing us to lift it. Operation complete. The attached video then shows how, in the event of a breakage of the cable controlled by the aforementioned lever, it can be resolved with a piece of wire.
