Instructions for Removing the Throttle Body

Model: Renault Clio MK 2, Clio 2 - Years: 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005

The throttle body is located next to the intake manifold and is connected to the air filter via a U-shaped hose: first, remove the hose, disconnect the connectors attached to the throttle body (three on the side and one underneath with a metal safety clip); unclip the throttle cable by rotating the cam and extract the sleeve by pressing firmly on the grommet.

Finally, unscrew the fastening bolts of the throttle body to the manifold and remove it from its seat.

Once removed, clean the throttle body thoroughly using a suitable degreaser.
