How to Open the Bonnet of the Renault Clio?

When you need to access the engine compartment, you must open the bonnet. To do this, open the driver's door and near the door, low down almost at floor level, there is a lever that you need to pull towards you until you hear a release sound (if the car has right-hand drive, the lever is still on the left, near the passenger door). Then, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet. Insert your hand into the gap created between the front grille and the bonnet itself. The bonnet release lever is located just to the right of the car's centreline. Push from one side with your fingers and lift the bonnet, which will now be free.
