Today, see how to replace a tyre on a Renault Modus; obviously, the operation is almost identical for all cars, especially those with steel wheels. First, secure the car by putting it in first gear and applying the handbrake. Take the spare wheel from the boot and position yourself for installation. Now remove the wheel cover and loosen the bolts. Next, position the jack at the contact points indicated by the vehicle and lift the car by turning the handle. Finish unscrewing the bolts and remove the old wheel. Now place the new tyre in position and proceed to re-tighten the bolts.
