Before proceeding with the installation of the new camshaft, lubricate the sliding seats as well as the valve lifters; then apply the camshaft, lubricate the seats of the locking brackets, apply sealant along the closure edge of the cover which also serves as the fixing brackets for the camshaft itself, and tighten the fixing studs with the appropriately calibrated torque wrench.

Then insert the side oil seal after lubricating it, ensuring it is fully seated; finally, install the timing belt pulley, align the timing marks, and install the timing belt.
