Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

Position the front of the vehicle on suitable axle stands to facilitate access to the oil sump; remove the dipstick and unscrew the filler cap to aid drainage; place a container under the oil sump and unscrew the plug to drain the used oil; once drained, re-screw the plug with a new washer; then proceed to replace the oil filter located at the front of the engine, near the alternator: use a metal strap wrench; then insert the new filter after coating the gasket with oil without exceeding the tightening torque. Finally, fill the engine with clean oil until reaching the maximum level.
