- Years 1995-2003 Before proceeding with the disassembly of the power steering pump, it is advisable to disconnect the battery carefully; then proceed with disassembling the auxiliary belt tensioner to remove the belt and free the pulley of the power steering pump; therefore block the rotation of the pulley to be able to disassemble the fixing pins and to be able to remove it from the flange; then disconnect the pipes, collecting the oil and disassemble the pump fixing pins by removing it from its seat; then proceed backwards to install the new pump by inserting it in its seat, fixing it with the pins, connecting the pipes, the flange and then the belt. Finally, restore the oil level.
