Replace the Battery in a Renault Key Fob

Hold the car key fob in your hand and press the button on the side to extract the key from its slot. Use a small flathead screwdriver to pry at the sides of the circular cover located on the opposite side of the fob controls to access the battery.

Remove the battery by prying it out from one side and sliding it out of its housing. Replace the CR2032 battery with an equivalent 3V battery, reinsert the battery into its housing, position the round cover back in place and press down in the centre to close it. Finally, reinsert the key into its housing until it clicks into place.
