How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Megane

To reset the service reminder and turn off the spanner light on your vehicle, insert the ignition key and turn it to the on position with the engine off. On the lever to the right of the steering wheel, press the button on the side of the lever until the display shows "service" with a small spanner icon next to it. At this point, press the clutch and brake simultaneously. Also, press the button you used to display the service message and hold everything for a few seconds. When it starts to flash, you know the operation has been successful. To verify, turn off the vehicle, and after you turn it back on, press again until the display shows the service message again. You will notice that the spanner icon has disappeared. The job is done.
