What to do when the engine failure risk warning light comes on in the Renault Scenic?

When the engine warning light comes on in your vehicle, followed by the indication "engine failure risk", you must perform a diagnosis to identify the errors present in the ECU. Typically, the error codes we find relate to the glow plug heating system and the emissions control system. At first glance, these two issues may not seem connected, but in reality, one is the consequence of the other; a failure in the glow plugs could prevent the maintenance of the exhaust gas regeneration temperature, thus interrupting the particulate filter cleaning process. Therefore, the first step is to replace the glow plugs and clear the error codes.
