Renault Clio - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Clio Clio V, Clio 5 - Years 2019-2024
Part: Instrument cluster
Operation: How to use the cruise control and speed limiter on the Renault Clio

Let's see how the speed limiter works on the Renault Clio: this allows the vehicle not to exceed a certain speed defined in advance. We select the button at the top left of the steering wheel, and an activation light will come on in the dashboard. We will therefore have to define a speed, which we will set by pressing the two buttons on the far left side of the steering wheel. When we reach the set speed, the throttle will not go forward. If in an emergency it is necessary to exceed this speed, the pedal can be pressed sharply and then the accelerator can be accelerated. It is possible to put the speed in stand-by by pressing the "0" button in the center of the control panel. The speed will remain memorized until it is reactivated by pressing the "res" key. To deactivate it completely, press the key with which we activated it. On steep descents the speed is not maintained. Now let's see the cruise control: we select the lower button on the left side of the steering wheel. To adjust the speed we will proceed as for the limiter, with the keys on the left. If you want to overtake, just press the accelerator; slowing down the vehicle will return it to cruising speed. The speed can be put in stand-by as for the limiter, or by braking, or by pressing the clutch. To reactivate it, press "res" To deactivate it completely, press the start key.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
