In this video, we see a truly ingenious solution from a YouTuber who had a Renault Megan, whose card unlocked the immobiliser (allowing entry into the vehicle) but did not start the engine. This is a common problem with Renault vehicles, as the card, repeatedly entering and exiting its housing, wears out and the reading system eventually fails to read it. With a very simple system, our YouTuber attached a two-pence coin with adhesive tape around the card, restoring its original thickness. Now the vehicle starts.
