Why is the Card of the Renault Megane 2 Not Recognised?

On the Renault Megane, the ignition key has been replaced by a card, which has the central locking buttons. This card must be inserted into the designated slot to start the car. It often happens that it is not recognised when inserted: the display shows the message "Card not identified". When this message appears, it may be necessary to replace the card. A temporary solution is to insert something as a spacer into the slot along with the card: in the video, a knife is used. At this point, it is possible to start the car by pressing the button.
