How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Clio III

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013
Part: Timing belt

Replacing the timing belt is a maintenance task that requires some basic mechanical knowledge, as a simple mistake could severely compromise engine operation. Position the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front right wheel (passenger side), the wheel arch liner, and the engine cover. Loosen the tensioner for the auxiliary belt and remove it to access the crankshaft pulley and remove the timing cover. Rotate the pulley to align the timing marks, lock the flywheel (a makeshift tool will suffice), and place a jack under the engine to remove the side support and gain easy access to the timing belt. Next, loosen the tensioner and remove the toothed belt, install the new tensioner, apply the new belt, and tension it. Rotate the crankshaft twice to settle the belt and proceed with reassembly, also installing a new auxiliary belt.

How to replace the diesel filter on a Fiat Freemont? In this video, we will show the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, lift the front bonnet and secure it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then use a socket to unscrew the bolts on the plate that supports the filter (disconnect the wires and various pipes from the filter) where it is located. Extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter container (connect the pipes and wires) and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet at the end.
