How to Replace Engine Oil and Oil Filter on Renault Twingo

The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Place a cloth on the wing to prevent damage to the paintwork. Unscrew the engine oil cap, then lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands underneath. Position a container under the oil sump and unscrew the oil drain plug, waiting for all the oil to drain into the container. Unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one (tighten to 21 Nm using a torque wrench). Refit the oil drain plug with a socket wrench to 25 Nm and then lower the car. Top up with new oil using a funnel and check the level with the dipstick.
