Resetting the Service Light on the Renault Koleos

As the time for an oil change on the Renault Koleos approaches, a warning light will illuminate on the instrument panel. Once the change is made, you must proceed to reset the control system that alerts you of the need for maintenance. While seated in the driver's seat, turn on the instrument panel, using the arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to select the maintenance interval option on the display, located at the bottom centre of the instrument cluster. Press and hold the "ok" button for five seconds, then release it; a message regarding the new maintenance interval will appear. Press "ok" again, wait for the message to start flashing, and at the end of the flashing, release the button. Open and close the door. Turn on the instrument panel to verify that the warning light is off.
