Replacing the Remote Battery of the Renault Clio

Over time and with use, the battery inside the remote that opens the doors of the Renault Clio depletes, and you need to replace it. To access the battery compartment, grip the metal key and apply force to the plastic shell to slide one of the two halves apart. Once separated, in the half without the key, you will find the battery housing, which you can remove with a small flat screwdriver. Insert a new CR1220 battery, ensuring the positive terminal is facing up, then join the two halves of the remote and slide them together until they lock.
