How to remove the rearview mirror and the front door panel.

Model: Renault Scenic MK IV, MK 4, Scenic IV, Scenic 4 - Years 2016-2022
Part: Side mirror

With the help of this video tutorial, we will explain how to remove the rearview mirror and the front door panel in order to replace it. To remove the rearview mirror, it is necessary to completely remove the door trim. Let's start by using a plastic tool to lever off the rigid plastic parts. Using a Torx 20 key, unscrew the panel's fixing screws, one of which is hidden behind the door handle. First, remove the door control panel and then the clip in the center that secures the trim. Now, loosen the upper side screw of the trim and lever it off around the lock area. The door cover is attached with a clip that can be released by pressing on it. By removing the panel, we can disconnect the light connector, allowing us to disconnect the wiring from the mirror. Remove the screw and its three nuts from the end of the mirror and remove it. Before reassembling everything, we must check that the trim clips are not broken, and now, by following the reverse process, reassemble everything.

How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on a Volkswagen Polo

Remove the engine air filter from a Volkswagen Polo: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel (if necessary), then open the air box (unscrew the securing screws), remove the cover of the filter box and take out the engine air filter. Insert a new filter into the dedicated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the air box cover and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
