Removing the Ignition Barrel from a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

This guide will show you the steps to remove and replace the ignition barrel of a Renault Clio. First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the plastic cover of the steering wheel; then use a punch to remove the pin or rivet securing the ignition barrel and steering lock, subsequently disconnecting the electrical connector to remove it, as illustrated in the video. At this point, install the new ignition barrel, replacing the key accordingly, by applying the reverse procedure!
