In this video, we see how to change the cabin air filter on the Renault Megane III. To change this filter, you need to remove part of the dashboard, starting with the glove compartment. First of all, we need to remove the outer cheek of the dashboard by levering it with a thin screwdriver and disconnecting the airbag socket. Then, 6 support screws need to be removed, as highlighted in the video, using a torx screwdriver. Now it is possible to remove the glove compartment by pulling it towards oneself. The pollen filter is located on the left side of the passenger footwell, in a rectangular compartment. We will remove it, then clean the compartment thoroughly from residues and dust. Now we can put the new clean filter back in place and then reassemble the glove compartment by reattaching all the screws. Finally, we put the outer cheek back in place, first reconnecting the airbag connector.
