Renault, always at the forefront of innovation, was the first to introduce the key card, which serves as both a key and remote control. The card also integrates a classic mechanical key for use if the remote fails, possibly due to a flat battery. To replace the battery, first extract the mechanical key from the card by pressing the release button. Once the key is removed, the battery compartment is visible, and you need to remove the cap by prying around the edge. After removing the cap, take out the old battery and insert the new one (CR 2032).
