Replacing the Battery in a Renault Megane

Is the battery in your Renault Megane flat and refusing to recharge? It needs to be replaced! To do this, open the engine bay bonnet; you will find the battery on the driver's side, under a cover that you will need to remove. Using a socket wrench with an extension, undo the two screws that secure the retaining bracket, loosen and remove the negative terminal, then move on to the positive terminal and also undo the bolt for the corresponding cable. Remove the old battery, take the new battery, apply a thin layer of copper grease to the terminals, position it in its housing, clean the inside of the terminals with sandpaper before reconnecting them, starting with the positive one, to which you must reconnect the cable, and finally secure the bracket.
