How to change the unit of measurement of the speed on a Renault Scenic III

In this video we can see how to change the unit of measurement on the instrument panel of a Renault Scenic III: its display has a standard digital instrumentation, which means that it is not possible to see the speed simultaneously in miles per hour and kilometers per hour, so it is interesting to know how to change the unit of measurement; there is no direct option in the car's computer. Therefore, we will have to use the button located at the end of the windshield wiper control lever, and the car's engine start button. With the car turned off, press and hold the button on the end of the wiper control lever, then press and hold the engine start button. The speedometer will start flashing. While continuing to hold down the buttons, the units will change, but we must continue to hold down until the flashing stops. Once this process is completed, the speedometer will remain in the new unit of measurement, and the readings on the onboard computer will also be changed. If you want to return to the original setting, simply repeat the procedure.
