If the wrench symbol flashes under the central display of the instrument panel, in the lower left corner, it means that the time has come to carry out maintenance either due to mileage reached or due to time limit: it is important to respect this too, even if not the expected kilometers have been traveled, because the oil tends to lose its viscosity characteristics over time; having said this, the reset is done manually using the side buttons of the wiper control lever; once the ignition is turned on, press the side arrows to scroll through the menu items until you reach the maintenance message and then keep pressed until the message starts flashing and the new mileage interval appears.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
