How to adjust the handbrake in the Renault Megane?

Model: Renault Megane Megane III, Megane 3 - Years 2008-2015
Part: Hand brake

In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the Renault Megane, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then we release the handbrake and go to the rear seats. We then unlock the small storage compartment located at the end of the center console, locate the adjustment nut, and, using a 13mm wrench, tighten it until reaching the desired level of tension. Finally, we test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
